How many floors/stories is CAPSA?
CAPSA works beautifully for Ground+1 / Ground+2 / Ground+3 residences traveling to a maximum height of 32 feet. Please view our gallery for installation pictures in duplex and triplex properties.
In multistory buildings, we can also install CAPSA to connect floors for your convenience.
What is the electricity consumption for CAPSA?
Only 1.5 KVA, that is, equivalent to a 1.5 ton air-conditioner in your home. Cost-effective CAPSA uses power only when in motion so only 1 minute at the time of operation.
Will any civil work be required at my site?
Though no civil work essential, some sites may require it for aesthetics or to cater to particular requests. We request clients to partner with us and arrange for it to be done.
Any minor modifications at site, if required, can be taken up by us if the client prefers so.
The base on the elevator will be 5 inches thick, a 5 inch deep pit maybe required if you’d prefer the ground and elevator platform to be on the same level.
Will the ground door open if CAPSA is on another floor?
No. CAPSA comes with many safety features and the door safety systems keep the doors securely shut during operation.
What happens when electricity is cut/power fails?
As mentioned, CAPSA comes with many safety features and more are designed just for different scenarios related to power.
Level 1: CAPSA comes with a battery backup that seamlessly powers the elevator
Level 2: CAPSA connected to your inverter/generator will give a seamless experience
Level 3: In the event of no power supply, the doors will remain shut till the elevator automatically comes down to the nearest lower floor
Level 4: There’s a lever provided to manually lower the elevator to the nearest lower floor, if required.
Can we place the unit outdoors?
Yes, CAPSA is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. Many of our clients have a shining CAPSA installed on the side/front of their homes as it is very modern.
CAPSA Orbit is being developed as an indoors only model.
We’ll only need a 3ft x 3ft sturdy platform for installation.
